If you are a bong and not looking for too much comfort or ambiance this is the place. It looks ordinary like a normal mess but when it comes to food it transforms into a this paradise for bengali food. My staple food Fish cutlet (not always available), chicken kabiraj with eggnet is exquisite, mutton cutlet brings back memories of my childhood. My wife always goes for macher paturi and me for mutton dak bangla coz no bong food is complete without it for me along with roti..Sigh. I was born in Kolkata so have this affinity for bengali food even if I am not……..
