Chianti was one place I had always wanted to visit and on a whim me and my two partners in crime decided to go there on route to another engagement. It’s a beautifully arranged place and you are shown to the table with flamboyance that is in character with Italian restaurants. Oh the maitre de speaks flawless Italian as well.
I started off right away with a Sangria followed with a Zonin Valpolicella.
My better half and her sister ordered a mocktail Mint and Ginger with lime which was surprisingly mild flavoured considering the ingredients and very refreshing.
Without further adieu, we started off with Prosciutto E Melone for starters.
and went in for Tagliatta Di Filetto and Pollo Alla Parmigiana, Linguine Alla Preseator and Risotto AlFunghi for main course.
The Filetto was exquisite with every bite melting on the palate, with the sauces perfectly balancing the steak.
We settled down the whole thing with a Panna Cota which was a revelation with every spoonful.
