When the day begins
The golden rays nourishing
Today starts anew

Part of the #FMSPHOTOADAY  challenge, today is May 2 which is associated with morning ritual and I choose Surya Namaskar. Associated with Yoga, Surya Namaskar literally means welcoming the sun and what better ritual than to do this in the open air under the new sun.. Well I am still encouraging myself so if I preach more I might actually do it ! 😀

  1. Beautiful shot. I actually thought it would be of someone doing the sun salutation 😛

  2. I am a fan of Surya Namaskar too. I do it once in a while. 15-20 reps. Once I am back home from my vacation, I am going to make it a part of Morning Ritual again.

    1. 15-20 reps! Woah! I barely manage to do 4! (i.e. 2 cycles of 2 surya-namaskars each!)

      Lovely picture btw, Pheno Menon!

  3. What an amazing photo this is…

And SN? I have been wanting to do it forever but not taking out the time 🙁

  4. Another morning ritual I can only dream of doing. By the time I get up, the Sun is ready to burn a hole through my head at the slightest hint of an opportunity. Lovely shot! It’s difficult to expose properly at such high dynamic range.
