Finding Peace

This is one of the oldest Synagogues outside Israel found in the Old Jewish Town in Fort Kochi, Kerala. This was built in around 1760 by Ezekiel Rahabi. At some point , of the four faces of the clock, the one facing the palace showed the time in Malayalam and the face with etchings in Roman numerals was meant for the traders. The remaining two faces of the clock, had writings in Hebrew and one was blank….
