Had been to Aroi on sarjapura road with my family to celebrate my parents anniversary. Had heard quite a bit about the place and did not think twice about selecting the venue as my folks lean towards Chinese and pan Asian cuisine.
The setting is cosy and easy on the eye with good area and seating arrangements. The staff who attended to our requirements was well versed with the dishes in the menu and could also suggest the best ones and extremely polite.
We started off with a Tom Kha prawn soup which is this coconut milk goodness with kafir lime, lemon grass and fresh chillies and prawns teasing the palates into a frenzy. It was subtle, it was sharp it was a mix of every illogical to form a logically coherent beauty. Loved every sip of it.
For starters I ordered some fried calamari with red chillies which was was a memorable moment for the palate. It packed the right amount of heat yet the other flavors coming through to form a unique combination.
Along with that I also went in for Saiwoo Chicken with crackling spinach. It completely defined what exquisite means. A beautiful flavor overall with the cripy fried spinach adding to the experience. Don’t keep it too long or the spinach becomes soft…
