We celebrated our 16th anniversary at Salvadores. Absolutely fab Mediterranean wine bar with that old world charm. Amazing collection of wines. They have a small menu but what they have is spot on. Cedric to managed our table gave amazing recommendations and pairing suggestions.

Smoked Duck Salad – Fresh veggies and lovely smokey duck meat all brought together in a citrus emulsion with citrus fruits for the freshness. Paired incredibly well with the white wine. The food was incredible. That tenderloin steak is perhaps one of the best I’ve had for a long time. Perfectly medium rare. It was juicy and cut like butter with a regular knife. Didn’t even need the steak knife. . The better half loved the chimichurri fish as well.

Pan Seared Scallops – The scallop was treated with all the respect and kept soft and beautifully succulent. Perfect flavors of the garlic butter which IMO is the best way to eat scallops. Again a lovely pairing with the white wine.

Victoria Steak – Perfectly medium rare steak with their signature sauce was absolutely fantabulous. The meat was soft, juicy and didn’t even require a steak knife. The sauce had flavor of fresh peppercorns. Along with the sauce, an absolute stunner A must try if you are a meat lover especially beef. A brilliant pairing with the red wine.

Chimichurri Fish – My better half loved her chimichurri fish steak which interestingly went well with the red.

Tiramisu – A perfect dessert end to a fabulous dinner.

Espresso – Nothing hits the sweet spot like a well made espresso.
