I got a few samples from Box8 worth Rs.1300.  For the price and the items I got, it sure was a deal!!! The packaging was excellent as well.

Here’s the things I got and my thoughts on them

Murg Biryani – Very well made. I am typically not a biryani person but I would make this an exception. Beautifully prepared and perfectly spiced

Chicken Tikka Biryani – Not as spicy as the murg biryani but well made. For people with low spice levels this will work very well

Chicken Tikka on Rice – Nothing to complain about really. Satisfying

Chole Chawal – Comfort food at its best

Chicken Salad – This was made well but I would prefer the pieces to be smaller so its uniform with the veggies.  I ran out of chicken pieces with lots of veggies remaining

Chicken Sandwich – The filling was well balanced and flavorful but was too stuffed to enjoy it

Natural Icecream – Zafran pista flavoured. It was more of a kulfi than icecream but who cares eh? 🙂

Overall a good homely taste and definitely among those who I will order again.
