This is the result of my “Light experiment”. Choose a light source which is at a distance. On a low exposure time (1/5) and Fnumber (5.6) simply click and move the camera in random patterns. This gives a solid light and a blurred background. The blurred background you see here are trees and a house. I wanted an ellipse and I got one !! Make sure no flash is used for this and the movement of your hand be steady. I used the light from a bulb in a house a little distance away. It almost looks like a watercolor dont you think? or am I overestimating ?? Hmm

This looks like something fun to try!
I like the blurry background.
Its always interesting and fun to experiment
I love playing with light. I agree, the background looks like a watercolor. I like to do this at night with car lights too. Just sitting in a parking lot gives you all kinds of different shots.
That sounds like fun. Should try it 🙂
I agree that it looks like a watercolor. Very clever shot that worked out perfectly. The more you look at it the more lovely and interesting it becomes.
thnx 🙂
Cool. Have a fabulous week!

I should try this – you got some cool results!
Let me know what results you got 🙂
Very interesting. I just got a new camera and I still have it set on the “automatic” setting. I’m not quite ready for this kind of “stuff” yet. Soon, I hope. Mickie 🙂
all the best !! Have fun trying different things with your shooting machine 🙂
Interesting – I want to try this.
