Caught red handed with a papaya

SHARE if you like what you see

OK so its Day#4  and I am supposed to use Caught Red handed.   It reminds me of one morning when my mom was forcing me to eat papayas (I normally shy away from fruits as a general rule) and I was trying all my best to avoid it…. I detest it actually. There are very few fruits I like and I can count them in one hand.

Anyway so as the saying goes, necessity is the mom of inventions and to beat my mom I had to use this mom.  I took the papaya and filled it with tequila, amarulla and some honey and stirred it up nicely.  During this process, I was caught red handed with those spirits in the morning 🙂 Oh my mom has given up on my weirdness and no longer comments on the things I do. After the shocked and dazed look and with a shake of her head she goes back to picking the keyboard of her laptop.

Coming back to the papaya, after the mix with the spirits, it is  now a beautiful smelling slurry and after a dash of caster sugar and lime and water, it is a cocktail to be had from the papaya shell.

Cutting the long story short, it was a success and half of it was finished by my mom I think 😀

One of the fruits I like very much is the rambutan. It is this gorgeous plumpier cousin of the lychee. Oh that is red too 😀
