Chocolates!! Who doesn’t love it? Ok I know many who do not but they don’t count ! Considered sacred by the Aztecs and Mayans the cacao beans from which chocolate is finally made has travelled widely across cultures to form one of the best things know to us humans.
Its versatility makes it popular not only for sweets (duh) but also in savory dishes. Pure cacao can be used to enhance the depth of meat dishes and there are many Mexican dishes around this ingredient.
Did you know that the bars you buy and eat from your favourite companies may not be pure chocolates at all? Even if they claim to be dark chocolates with high percentage. Most of the time they aren’t even making their chocolates from scratch. They get the chocolate liquor from chocolatiers and form their own bars. Lets look at the process
I came across Rushk Chocolates from a food forum on FB and was immediately hooked to the description. Ordered their classic Cacao 70% as well as the Cranberry Cacao 70%. The term melt in the mouth initially was coined in the chocolate world and this could apply to the chocolates. They have a smooth luscious feel on the tongue and the best way to eat these is to just let them remain till they “melt in the mouth”. It’s sinful and it’s exciting.
Definitely worth buying and savoring
